A Funeral Will Take Place...
Mon 25th Apr 2011 19:54 by portvale4ever

Next Saturday (April 30th) the funeral of Port Vale Football Club will take place in Burslem, Stoke-On-Trent. Mourners have been asked to gather outside The Bulls Head Pub, St.Johns Square,  at 2.30pm to take part in the funeral march through Burslem town centre, ending at the Lorne St. Stand entrance, Vale Park.

Those intending to attend the passing away of this great Club are asked to do so peacefully and respectfully.

The sad death of Port Vale comes as no surprise to those who new the Club well. Kept in shameful ailing health by a morally bankrupt Board of Directors, the life & soul of Vale has simply drained away from the Club in front of our very eyes.

Generous offers to resusitate Vale have been declined by the Board, without any genuine explanation. Mounting pressure from Fans has also been arrogantly dismissed. Since January the Club has been a complete and utter shambles on the pitch. Our season died a slow and painful death, finally put out of it's misery this afternoon in Stevenage.

RIP Port Vale Football Club

Thank your lucky stars you don't support Stockport County and be grateful you've had something to cheer about this season.
