Wenger has revealed club are trying to secure the futures of talented trio.

Ivan Gazidis recently negotiated a new long term deal for Eduardo and will be keen to seal new contracts for William Gallas and Tomas Rosicky as soon as possible as their current contracts end in the summer and they will be free to speak with other clubs in January. A new deal for Vela is not as urgent but rumours have been rife that the Mexican is interested in a potential move to Spain after finding his first team opportunities severely limited.

Wenger has spoken to The People about the contract talks:

“We are speaking with Tomas and William, and I am optimistic to find a solution for both of them. We've had no offers for Carlos and we are extending his contract at the moment."

Gallas is the most important player of the three, particularly given the struggles that Wenger has had in signing in quality centre backs and it will be interesting to see whether the manager sticks to his policy of only offering a one year contract extension to players over thirty.
