Clark has arranged games with Wigan and Man Ure. Im growing to like this guy.....at least he seems to care.

Seems to putting the work in to get the team up and running. I wonder how many of the squad will feature in these friendlies. Where did you pick this up Allez? Not seen it on official site.
Edit to add I've now seen it on Lee Clark's Leeds preview.

Friendlies during the season are a waste of time I'm afraid.

Pre-season, yes. During season, no.

Just a personal observation! But then, what do I know!

Osbourne - it's good for the players who haven't featured (he said there's 8 who will e rested) but also no harm playing Man United in case they have a couple of decent prospects?

Ormerod89,

My post was a 50/50 post.

I concede! Just so long as Pool do not pick up any injuries.

I don't know, this professional sport lark is all getting too serious. Some of the tackles and things you see on the pitch worry me. Just take Wednesday night v Fulham. The referee sent McMahon off, but the Fulham player nearly took McMahon's throat out at the drop ball. Equally, for Fulham's 2nd goal, the Fulham player deliberately sitting on Lewis for the corner, bundled Lewis into the back of the Pool net as the corner came over.

My point is, with these guy's can there ever be a 'Friendly' game?
eg I wonder if Roy Keane ever played in a 'friendly' game?

Anyway, what do I know!
I concede your observations. But......................................................!
to friendlies!
