Finally put out of our misery today by Rotherham.
Looking back over the season it's nothing more than we deserve, just 4 wins all season and not one away win, 53 players most who were just well below par, a crap manager, pathetic owners, laughable chairman, what did we all expect?
In just 4 years this clubs demise is astonishing and hand on heart it's not stopped yet.

I agree SS - I fear I won't see us back in the top two tiers of English Football in my lifetime. Don't intend to shuffle off just yet but I can't see this club bouncing back for another 29 years. | |

When you put it in to perspective of just 4 league wins, no away wins and 53 of the very worst players I've seen in a Blackpool shirt (and Lee Clark has to take a lot of the blame for those) then it is deserved.

After last season alarm bells should have been ringing but what did we do in readiness for this season?
Install a manager who had no dialog at all with the chairman.
Have just 8 registered players at the start of the season.
Sack the manager without dialog after 10/12 games.
Install a manager totally out of his depth who had already failed at this level.
Recruit 53 league 1-2 players while still in the championship.
Things were so bad even the kit man fcuked off.
We have millions in the bank but what good has it all done?

Karl had a perfect opportunity with hardly any players/baggage and a clean slate to be looking for a new manager to get a team together from May. Instead he went on holiday, went shooting and went on different jollies across Europe supposedly looking for a manager.
The 'no rush' stance was foolish and the rewards of his shocking incompetence are now being reaped. This relegation is down to one man and one man only. | |
