All you need to know about getting to Brentford.

Getting There

By road there are two routes, simplest is to take the M3 and then head north on the M25 signposted Heathrow, then take the London bound M4 leaving this at Junction 2, at the roundabout come back on yourself on the A4 that runs under the motorway, at the first roundabout take the B455 Ealing Road, the ground is then on your right.

Alternatively stay on the M3 to the end and then continue towards London, just after Twickenham rugby ground take the A310 bearing left and follow this road to its junction with the A315, turn tright and this will take you right to Brentford high Street with the ground being on your left on the B455 Ealing Road.

Parking

There is little parking other than street parking around the ground, look out for restrictions, if you have taken the M4 route it may be easier to park on the other side of the motorway from the ground.

By Train

Simplest route s to get odff at Clapham Junction and then take the overground to either Kew Bridge or brentford, Kew Bridge is about a ten minute walk from the ground and has several pubs on the main road, whilst Brentford is only five minutes walk but does restict you a bit to drinking near the ground. Trains are every fifteen minutes or so from Clapham so fairly frequent.

The Ground

Saints section is possibly one of the strangest looking stands in the league, its a rather small two tier structure that accomodates around a thousand on the terrace below, with several pillars obstructing the view and then above about six hundred seats. Its known as the Wendy House to Brentford fans for obvious reasons.

If Saints fans can obtain tickets in home sections then they are probably advised to go into the Bill Axbey stand as that was 95% empty last year.

Drinking Etc

Brentford probably has more pubs near it than any other team in the league, firstly its famous for having a pub on all four corners, three of them are away fan friendly but the Royal Oak seems to be the home of the Brentford youth firm and therefore isnt very welcoming, but on Brentford high Street walking from Kew Bridge there are a number of pubs listed and all within a five to ten minutewalk from the ground.  The Waggon & Horses and Magpie and crown are two that are recommended.
