Swansea entertain Leyton Orient as they say goodbye to the Liberty for another season

The promotion party is definitely in full swing but until we get to the end of the arbitration hearing nobody knows what the outcome of League One is or indeed whether the league table will resemble anything like it does this week in seven days time.

The whole farce that has been allowed to develop by the league threatens to develop the last seven days of the league season into chaos with both Carlisle and Doncaster looking nervously over their shoulders for the result from the courtrooms.

Swansea have been told that they are not officially League One champions yet despite Sky Sports amongst others saying that they are and Leeds victory at Yeovil on Friday night has confirmed that they will not be advised by the league any different today.

However, that should all be put to one side today as the Swans are welcomed into the Liberty for one last time this season and let's not forget that Champions or not they are ready to say goodbye to League One and welcome Championship football to the venue.  That should not be lost in all the confusion elsewhere.

It is also the chance to avenge some pretty poor home form which has seen us fail to win in five games at the stadium and Roberto will be keen to put that right this afternoon in front of an expected crowd in excess of 17,000.

Team news wise it seems almost certain that Garry Monk will return to the side today and I suspect it may be Dennis Lawrence that makes well.   I believe at the moment that a Monk/Williams combination is the preferred option at the back from what we have and we have two chances to test it now in competitive action.   Owain Tudur Jones is a shoe-in to start in midfield in place of Darren Pratley and the sight of him starting a game is a warm one for all Swans fans.

Alton Thelwell, who is recovering from knee surgery, and Tamika Mkandawire (hernia) are Leyton Orient's only definite absentees.

Teenage forward Loick Pires made his debut from the bench last week and will hope to be involved again.

Prediction wise I have come unstuck in recent weeks but this is the real party today.  Last week's shocker will be put behind us and the team have something to prove.  Orient won't roll over and let us have it our own way but I think we will go at them from the off and today the early goal is there.  We will win, I'd like to believe by three goals but I suspect either 2-0 or 3-1 is more likely.

Paddy Power says: The Swans are 8-15 favourites to win the game last week with Orient a long shot at 4-1.  Similar odds to last week I can confirm but we won't get stung twice! The draw is 11-4 at the Liberty.2-0 and 3-1 has been mentioned above these are available at 6-1 and 11-1 respectively if you want to back the correct score.  You can view Paddy Power's full list of markets on this game by clicking here
