Sales Of Season Tickets Delayed Until March

Season Tickets Delayed Until March

Season tickets for the Swans first season in their new home will not go on sale until March at the earliest with the club electing to wait until the contractors have moved off site before making tickets available.

Existing season ticket holders will still have priority and will be sent an information pack in advance. Explaining the delay, Swans director Dave Morgan said "We believe that fans want to see the seat that they are buying in person rather than just picking one from a seating plan.

"Once tickets are on sale, a deposit will secure their seat. There are unreserved areas so they can buy a seat in an area rather than a stipulated seat. All fans will have the chance to use the bars in the concourses but only season ticket holders will be able to gain access to the Supporter's bar"

Dave also confirmed that tickets for the last three home games for both 12 match season ticket holders and non season ticket trust members should go on sale within the next month. Full details of when these will be available will be publicised in due course. 12 match season ticket holders are reminded that their vouchers cannot be used for admission to the last three matches - they will need to buy a ticket when the above go on sale.

Meanwhile, the away trop to Leyton Orient on February 12 has been made all ticket for Swans fans. Works at Leyton Orient's ground have meant that just 500 places will be available for Swans fans.

It is also believed that the Chester game at the Vetch next Saturday will be made all ticket as it is one of the games included on the link tickets. The club do have a small supply of link tickets available for the West Terrace which will remain available until the game itself. Bring a friend for free vouchers are not eligible for Saturday's game or any of the last three games at the Vetch.
