Leon Britton was disappointed but positive at the same time after the Swans exited the FA Cup

The Swansea City midfielder felt that the Swans lost their way a little after taking the lead - and a deserved lead at that.

They were under pressure for long periods after Jason Scotland gave them the lead early in the second half and ultimately paid the price with late goals from Dempsey and Zamora denying the Swans the chance to take on Manchester United a week on Saturday.

Britton told BBC Sport after the game "We held our own against Fulham

"But after we took the lead, we just didn't seem to play our normal football and it gave them an edge.

"They've got quality internationals on the bench to bring on, have a great home record and are in the top ten of the Premier League so it is no disgrace losing here.

"But the players are still disappointed - that shows how far we have come as a club."

The Swans attentions now turn to the league with Charlton the visitors to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday and Roberto Martinez added "We need to be realistic as we are Championship club and now our focus must be on the league and seeing this football club progress further.

"Everyone will agree that we played better than Fulham in three of the four halves of football in this tie. "
