Dorus De bries says that there is still hope for the Swans Premier League dream

The Swansea City record breaker was speaking after the disappointment of Saturday's defeat at Sheffield United that dumped the Swans out of the top six for the first time since November.

They must now win their game on Sunday against Doncaster and hope that Bristol City get something at Blackpool to secure that play off space and a two legged tie against what seems to be likely to be Nottingham Forest.

Dorus told the Evening Post "It's really disappointing — everyone is gutted

"We were kind of hoping on a day like this that we could get a result and I thought all the ingredients were there.

"But unfortunately we didn't have the decisions with us that should have been with us and then you lose 2-0.

"You feel gutted about that of course, because those decisions can change a game and they can change certain people's lives as well

"They had four chances and scored two goals," said de Vries.

"The first one was a great finish, but it's unbelievable. Everything drops for them because the decisions don't go with you.

"He put it in the top corner and that's a bitter blow, but you've got to keep fighting.

"Then they scored in the last minute and that's just down to that little bit of bad luck that we had."

He added: "Everyone's disappointed, but there's still hope and you've got to look forward.

"You have to look at the next game which is Doncaster at home and maybe our fortune will turn around.

"We have to wait and see. Blackpool are on a great run and we have given them the advantage."
