It would be a bit soon to say 'that's it' but there is no doubt time is now against Blackpool in the race against relegation and another home defeat on an appalling pitch would suggest that they now have to much to do to get out of their predicament. Ironically they probably played to about their fill potential but it wasn't enough to stop Boro going to the top of the Championship.

Whilst Blackpool held firm for 81 minutes, Veteran defender Jonathan Woodgate headed in a Grant Leadbitter corner nine minutes from time for Boro but a Ben Gibson own goal pulled Blackpool level four minutes later.
