Blackpool v Nottingham Forest Preview
Friday, 13th Feb 2015 17:58 by Editor

Lee Clark has called it when he said that despite 16 games of the season remaining that there is little room for error left in Blackpool's season. Realistically trips to Brentford, Derby, Ipswich and Bournemouth will result in little more than a good thrashing whilst the other 4 trips on the road will probably throw up less than half a dozen points which means that Clark's side would need 7 wins out of 8 at home for any chance of survival. That seems as likely as the Oyston family winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Forest are the visitors on Saturday who have been resurgent under Dougie Friedman since their fans saw the departure of Stuart Pearce. Bearing in mind he desperately needs a win you'd have hoped that Lee Clark will go for an attacking line up which means that Gary Madine may well start for the Seasiders. With problems again in defence, Tom Adlred mat come in for the struggling Clarke and O'Dea combination Niall Maher in his short time on the pitch looked a decent alternative to Charles Dunne.

Forest are without leading scorer Britt Assombalonga, who has been ruled out for 12 months after undergoing knee surgery. Matty Fryatt and Dexter Blackstock are Forest boss Dougie Freedman's main options to replace Assombalonga.

Not quite Last Chance Saloon but we're getting close to throwing out time.
