Stockport draw puts 4th in Dale's hands
Stockport draw puts 4th in Dale's hands
Tuesday, 29th Apr 2008 21:48

A win for Dale this weekend will secure fourth spot in the table, after Stockport could only draw with lowly Chester - a result which also saw Mansfield Town relegated from the Football League.

And so it all goes down to the final game.

Dale have already secured a position in the top half of the Play Offs which guarantees an away leg in the first game. But if Dale can get all three points against the Shrews at the weekend, or at the very worst match Stockport's result, then they can secure that fourth position.

Matching County will see Dale play their first leg of the Play Offs on Saturday 10th May with a 5:35pm kick off, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. We don't know the opponents yet, but this weekend's fixtures and current form would suggest its more likely to be Darlington than Wycombe. The return leg will take place on Saturday 17th May with a 12pm kick off.

Should County better Dale at the weekend, then our first leg will take place on Sunday 11th May with a  6pm kick off, and will also be shown on Sky Sports. The Spotland leg will take place on 17th May, with kick off at 6pm.
