Very interesting if you have an interest in this region of the NFL (Eastern/midwest-Eastern)

The Redskins experiment with Robert Griffin III as their QB is temporarily over.

Colt McCoy, U of Texas QB drafted in the 3rd round in 2010 plays v the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

For context here, it leads the sports news all over today (ESPN, etc)... At least Colt defeated the Dallas Cowboys a few weeks ago --which now feels like an eternity ago, the team he grew up rooting for. Here's hoping for better days ahead.

Griffin's first season poise, accuracy and speed have evaporated...plus he's suggested his team mates haven't played well enough.

Redskins have a big decision to make next May when its 5 year option time on his rookie contract. They gave away a huge amount to trade up in the draft to get him and he has not been value for money. Stick or twist?

The injury he suffered towards the end of his first season may have done for him as a long term Redskins starter.

Not a great weekend thusfar for our PL'ers. But as I like to emphasize, Do Not Look at the point spread favourites. That's often fool's gold. To your point, Gerry, Vikes are not as poor as their record has shown. Not bad at all
