I see Kevin is the new manager of Maldon & Tiptree. Good luck to him.

I didn't know he has been coaching at Florence Park recently.

Yup. Good luck to Kev. Based on all I've read he is happy to be upward and onward. Nicely done. Will have to religiously follow another league table

Disappointed the BBC didn't pick up on his very commendable 2nd place in the U'sual prediction league...

A least he had a 100% unbeaten record, over the eleven day post season appointment .

Right. So he left after a mere 11 days as manager of Maldon & Tipree to join his former Spurs teammate Teddy Sheringham as assistant at Stevenage.

Note to self. Never hire Watson at ColU.

This kind of "loyalty" we don't need.

I suspect Stevenage will be paying a little more than M & T.

But he had a job at being a gaffer. Was Kev so inpatient? So insecure? No offense to KW, but leave a club, albeit a little one, who gave him a shot, just leave em high and dry after their faith to drive the wheel? Shows his character. Hope Stevanage go straight down.

So would you have stayed at maldon if you were Watson?

We have yet to know what went on behind the scenes and Maldon have yet to comment.

I think we should reserve judgement until more is known.

Well, yes. It would have been an honour to have had a club with enough faith to appoint me as manager. I personally have coached 9 and 10 year olds

But to your point, I guess I don't know.

KW better hope that Sheringham helps get Stevenage promoted. Then Teddy may be offered a job in the Championship and KW could slide in as the new gaffer.

I think it's the principle of it that irks me. If he didn't want a job at that level why did he accept the position?

As PWK wrote , something may have transpired in the back room of M & T. I hope they were compensated by Boro.
