RSCOSWORTH takes top honours with a 5-3, 7 point week to be a mere 2 pts behind MFB_CUFC, and there is still a massive 6 weeks before the playoffs. LEADBELLY has also narrowed the gap with, on the surface, not a so-called standout 4-4 week, but 6 points--getting both two-pointers correct--was the proper tonic. THRILLSEEKER and I both managed good 5-3 weeks; GERRY_US and DURHAM_EXILE slipped a bit, although here is what I consider a difficult week of games to right the ship for anyone... It appears that the way MFB and I have decided on games this season as presenters, picking 6 of 8 winners is not coming easy... But hey, if you like betting on the NFL, call this a master class when you hit BetFred or somewhere.

Skins will not lose a home game from their 16-game schedule; Bengals are the "home team," week 8, so Cincy has only 7 home games.
There is also a slight possibility that the Redskins may play the St Louis Rams week 7 at Twickenham v the Rams, but that's dependent on how the table sorts itself in the next 6 weeks. There is some formula and I'll be darned if I can explain it, who plays in England in the International Series.. (games that matter, not friendlies)
The Redskins would be the first team ever to play two in the same season in England. And neither game will count against the 8 home games--of 16--at Fed Ex Field outside of DC. There is no way the NFL will take away a home game from Washington, in Landover, Maryland.
Wow. Two Skins games and Colchester United games late October?? If that's confirmed, I'm booking my flight and hotel/inn the minute it is confirmed. I'll have a better shot at getting 2 tickets for the Skins game(s) from stateside. Maybe 3-4 tix. It will be cheaper to get a ST than pay the broker prices on those resale sites.
All 3 games sold out in England this season. Huge applause to NFL fans. They will come from around the U.K. and the continent, servicemen/women and exiles, too. That's fab for England. Great. Now I'm going to feel guilty if I influenced you in the wrong direction. The Giants at Redskins game is a 2 point swing in the table, so you could potentially be top of the table by Sunday night versus MFB.

Having said that, there is a reason that NY Giants at the Washington Redskins is a 2-pointer. The team that wins will be in first place in the NFC East, albeit the Skins only by a tie-breaker. It is the showcase 1 p.m. game in the USA; New York City will be crushed if their Giants lose; 80,000 will be here at Fed Ex Field locally, DC, to make serious noise.
