Week 4 Results

BOLTON 1 SOUTHEND 1

Southend survived a Bolton onslaught, to come away with a point. Well done to burnsieespana for being the only one to get this spot-on. The other 25 predicted a Bolton win.

BURY 4 PORT VALE 1
A comfortable win for Bury, after scoring three goals in the first 22 minutes. Nobody got this spot-on, but 12 did have the outcome.

MILLWALL 1 BRADFORD CITY 1
Bradford remain unbeaten after this draw. A big 6 had this spot-on, and there were 2 who got the outcome.

OLDHAM 2 SHREWSBURY 3
First away goals of the season for Shrewsbury, as the came from behind to beat 10-man Oldham. Again nobody had this spot-on, and just 2 got the outcome.

OXFORD UNITED 1 ROCHDALE 0
Oxford secure victory with a goal in the 88th minute. The 6 who had this spot-on were grateful for that, and a further 11 got the outcome.

COLCHESTER 2 EXETER 3
Nobody saw that coming, as Colchester's defensive woes come back to haunt them. Only OhOriori had the outcome, with the other 25 predicting a Colchester victory.

CREWE 2 DONCASTER 1
Another late goal, this time in the 87th minute, wins it for Crewe. Just the 2 (mfb_cufc and Pinault_Noir) had this spot-on, with 5 getting the outcome.

LUTON 4 WYCOMBE 1
A Hylton hat-trick for Luton, as they hammer Wycombe, and go to the top of League 2. Another game without any 3 pointers, but 25 did have the outcome.

MORECAMBE 1 LEYTON ORIENT 2
Morecambe's winning run stops at four, after this defeat. There were 4 who got this spot-on, and 3 had the outcome.

NOTTS COUNTY 2 GRIMSBY 2
An 88th minute equaliser for Notts County, as the came back from being two goals down. Only 2 (jonestones and durham_exile) got this spot-on, but there were 8 who had the outcome.

A real mixed bag of results this week, with the good things Bolton and Colchester failing to deliver, and four games not having any 3 pointers. But with the balance being addressed by the popular results at Millwall and Oxford, those important 3 pointers were there if you could find them. Someone who had no trouble finding them was burnsieespana, who got four. As well as being the only one to get the Bolton draw spot-on, he also had the Millwall draw, and the wins for Oxford and Leyton Orient. By also getting one other outcome, he got what was an outstanding 13 points, in a week that was overall not that easy. So a clear winner for the honour of being the weeks top scorer, but there were also some other efforts worthy of a mention, with mfb_cufc, jonestones, Colukev, concordman, and durham_exile all having two spot-on.
In the Premier, It all change again, as last seasons Division One champ burnsieespana, soars to the top, on the back of his massive week. Another solid week from Gate16, sees him remain second, and mfb_cufc moves up three into third. Last weeks leader thrillseker, drops to fourth. There is also big drops for Week 2 leader RSCOSWORTH, down five to eighth, and Sector4, now bottom, after dropping four places. He replaces jonestones, who finally showed some of the form that got him promoted last season.
In Division One, there is a new leader here as well, with durham_exile having something to smile about, after the U's disastrous defeat today. Could this be the season when he finally gets his former Premier league spot back again. Another one looking to get it back, at the first attempt in his case, is mrhappy, and he moves up four into second. The present Happy Cup holder desthegooner, is showing that when he manages to predict the right weeks games, he could be a force in the league this season, as he moves up to third. After another week to forget, WessiehomesPete, who had lead from Week 1, now finds himself in fifth. That is the only other significant change in this league, though Colukev finally showed play-off form he is known for, and is quickly off the bottom. He is replaced by johnnyboy53, after his no show.

THE TABLES (28 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
