I didn't think "entertainment" could be any worse than X Factor (or similar) but I was wrong.

For the record, I discovered this by accident rather than choice.

Torville & Dean never had a musical hit.
Vanilla Ice never won a Gold Medal.
But both are more talented than the Colchester Clown "Stevie"

Vanilla Ice had a cameo role in the Adam Sandler 2012 movie "That's my Boy", which is on Netflix. Critics absolutely slaughtered it, it was a box office flop, and Vanilla Ice was nominated for the Golden Raspberry Worst Supporting Actor of that year. On the other hand, I thought it was a hoot, and his role (as himself) was a fine example of self-deprecating humour, so just goes to show how much I know about movies...

But would it have been better on ice?

Last season I paid an average of £16 and the U's only ever entertained me for 15 minutes most games. The other 75 minutes were appalling.

So it sounds reasonable to me, assuming that he can entertain for 30 minutes on skates.

15 minutes? I must have missed those games.

The film was surreal enough, but on ice certainly would have added a whole new dimension :-)

No doubt but I will resist the urge to purchase tickets nonetheless.
