NFL PL 2016/17 .. MFB holder 02:10 - Sep 10 with 389 views

Trying to do what happened 10 years ago and get players from The U'sual and the OMB (cu-fc-chat.com) into a crossover competition.

MFB_CUFC is the champion of 2015/16 and Gerry_US is the Superb Owl champion.

This season the final week will be the AFC and NFC championship. The Superb Owl will be a one week statistical wonder.

NFL Week 1 is this week and PL Week 1 will be NFL Week 3. That way we all will have a sense of how teams are faring after two weeks.

Each week will be 9 games, 6 worth 1 point and 3 worth 2 points (the so-called more "marquee" games)..

Three games will be across the pond and each one of those will be worth 2 points each.

Everything is Pick the Winner.

Post your interest or simply make predictions when PL Week 1 begins in two weeks.

Sorry, the PL won't happen. On the OMB (cu-fchat) it was met with ambivalence and even a tinge of hostility.

And I've gotten no sense there is an interest here anymore.

So never mind.

I'll participate in MFB's and Daniel's PL but that's about it.

For the heck of it, I'll post 9 fixtures this weekend. The NFL PL has become a "fixture" on The U'sual.

If anyone wants to join the PL from the OMB they can post here.

MFB deserves the chance to defend his title. I'll see if I can get a past champion, Tinjake, to register here. And Olibroom.

Even if it's just 4-5 of us, I'll treat the PL with reverence .. Fixtures to be posted in a few days.

I assume that MFB, Thrillseeker, Leadbelly, Gerry and Durham will be on board.

New York Jets 37 at Buffalo Bills 31 .. Jets improve to 1-1 while Buffalo drops to 0-2.
