Man City make it eight wins out of eight in all competitions, with this stroll. Not surprisingly all 27 predicted a Man City win, with 4 getting it spot-on.
WEST BROM 4 WEST HAM 2
West Brom do their best to blow a four goal lead, as the West Ham bubbles continue to burst. No surprise that nobody had this spot-on, and just the 4 got the outcome. There were two popular predictions in this game, with 11 going for a 1 all draw, and 9 for a West Ham 2-1 win.
IPSWICH 0 ASTON VILLA 0
Aston Villa held on to claim the first bore draw in this seasons Happy League. Again the 3 points eluded everybody, but 9 did have the outcome.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST 1 NORWICH 2
Norwich came from behind to beat Forest, despite missing a penalty. That missed penalty helped a massive 9 to get this spot-on, with another 2 having the outcome.
CHESTERFIELD 3 NORTHAMPTON 1
Northampton's 31-game unbeaten run in the league comes to an end. Well done to Pinault_Noir for being the only one to have this spot-on, and another 11 predicted the Nothampton run would end, and they get 1 point.
HARTLEPOOL 0 MANSFIELD 0
The second bore draw this week, in a game of few chances. Just the 2 (jonestones and desthegooner) were bold enough to predict this, with 3 more having the outcome. There were 17 who predicted Hartlepool would get their first home win of the season.
This was a tough week overall, with only Man City, by gifting everybody at least one point, and the Norwich win giving any respectability for some members. So it was a great effort from gerry_us, who doubled his 3 pointer total for the season, by having the Man City and Norwich wins spot-on, and with three other outcomes, he is this weeks top scorer, with an excellent 9 points. The weeks other performance of merit came from Pinault_Noir, who had the Norwich win to go with his Chesterfield win spot-on, on his way to a very good 8 points. Just two others, sevebalo and Tropical_Us, had two spot-on, with both having the Man City and Norwich double.
In the Premier, it is as you were, with the top two both getting just the 2 points. So burnsieespana continues to head Gate16 by virtue of having more 3 pointers. In fact the top five is the same as Week 5. The only change of note in this league was for ethicsgirl to drop four places, and back into the relegation zone.
In Division One, it is a reduced lead for durham_exile, as another solid week from concordman, moves him to within 3 points. Just like last week, the two top scorers in this league take giant strides upwards, with Pinault_Noir moving up six places into third, and a seven place rise for gerry_us, into fourth. The only other move of significance in this league was OhOriOri dropping four places, following last weeks big rise. Including last season as well, it is now 13 weeks and 94 games since Daniel last had a 3 pointer, but with 32 other outcomes in that same period, it can only be a matter of time before that unwanted record goes.
