Fosu's loan extended provided allowable.
Kamara's loan not extended
Lee signed for a small fee
Slater to stay as doubt anybody be prepared to pay the £500000 fee we would want to make it worthwhile considering we paid Kilmarnock a lot of compensation.
Would not surprise me if an experienced keeper signed on loan as Barnes only back up and, whilst a good prospect, if Sam got another longterm injury, a huge risk.
An experienced midfielder on loan as with Sammy S and Loft injured we have very little back up.
Bonne might go out on loan again as hadn't really set the Heather on fire since coming back from Lincoln.

I sincerely hope that Elliot Lee shows some loyalty to the Super U's, after all he couldn't wait to get away to the Championship but it hasn't worked out for him.

I will be expecting much more from Lee this time.

Craig Slater will stay without doubt.

What makes you think Craig Slater is going anywhere? He's been one of our best and most consistent performers this season but has hardly set the world alight.

Slater has been excellent in a 3-4-1-2, notably away from home. He holds up the ball and distributes it for the hard running Guthrie and Johnstone.

Perhaps a little less effective with Porter and Guthrie as Porter is slower and less mobile; so Porter then tends to be the target and 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 then works better.

Looking at some of thee odd signings being made by other teams, any of our quality players could be vulnerable to a bid from Championship or Division One sides. But the initiative is with us as regards price as this year we have no free agents that we want to retain.

Now Lapado to Shrewsbury with them citing his division one experience! Wish him well, but it's another odd one. Never made it at U's, surprise signing at Crystal Palace, hardly set the world on fire on loan at struggling Oldham. Must have a great agent.

Presently only two players would be possibly worth fees from the current squad. Which brings the question, if promoted back to D1 next season would / could we survive ?

I think that's a bit harsh Bewildered. If a senior player is locked into a U's contract then money would have to be provided to obtain their release. Even considering modest Division Two wages that won't be trivial. Then I believe that all under 23's that have emerged from the Academy automatically stimulate £40,000 (I think) compensation on their transfer for each year of their tuition in the Academy. It's probably why we have not yet sold "Bonne" as he is too expensive.

There is no reason to believe we can survive in Division One. Frankly, we struggled before, and what has positively changed? Today, we face the consequences of Financial Fair Play. On gates averaging under 4,000 I don't think a long Division One tenure is sustainable.

Agree with RSC comment, Slater has not set the world alight . On current form Dickenson and Kent would be any interest to others, although Guthrie could well develop, has at present gets the ball stuck under his feet to often, and strike rate needs to improve .
Very unlikely to get a substantial fee for Bonn if he cannot even make the squad, let alone first Xl regular place.
Elliott Lee would be a ideal replacement for Slater, although his fitness level needs to have improved from last season .
The bottom line Noah is that any young player that cannot flourish at this level is not going too .

I'm afraid that I do not rate Lee at all.

Slater, Guthrie, Garvan can help us to promotion.

However do not forget about Tom Lapslie who has stepped up to the captaincy with considerable prowess.

Three points tomorrow and the belief will be coursing through the veins.

Every one of our contracted players is worth a transfer fee if another club believes they can do a job for them that secures promotion, avoids relegation or maybe just fills in hole in a squad.

A bid of 250k plus comes in ( theoretically ) for Dickenson , Slater or Kent - should or would Chairman accept - thus derail the promotion push ?

Confirmed Fosu stays until the end of the season and Kamara goes back. Both sensible decisions but does Kamara going leave us short of midfield back up? Slater, Garvan and Lapslie are a shoe in to start while available but there isn't much behind them other than the permanently injured Loft. Fosu looks like he could cover Slater but not the other two and the last thing we want to do is start dropping Guthrie back again. I anticipate a midfield arrival.

Midfield trialist from Cardiff City scored against Tractor boys recently and also Callum Harrison on loan at Needham Market together with Regis, Wright and Dunne, should have enough cover with Loft also to return
Must be easier to be selected for a successful team, if your good enough, so why bother with a midfield signing .
Would prefer a experience keeper and striker to signed until end of season ,
