Week 31 Results

EVERTON 3 WEST BROM 0

Everton have now won their last five home Premier League games, after this comfortable victory. Nobody got this spot-on, but 18 did have the outcome.

HULL 2 SWANSEA 1
Swansea have now conceded 61 goals this season. No side has conceded 60 or more goals after 28 games in the Premier League and stayed up. There were 4 who had this spot-on, and 3 more got the outcome.

BARNSLEY 1 IPSWICH 1
A 93rd minute equaliser for Ipswich, as they get their seventh draw in an undefeated run of eight games. That late goal was good news for the massive 9 who got this spot-on, and just the 1 had the outcome.

NORWICH 2 BLACKBURN 2
Blackburn score with their only two shots on target, as 10-man Norwich came from behind to rescue a point. Well done to OhOriOri for being the only one to get 3 points for this, and another 2 had the outcome. There were 19 who predicted a win for managerless Norwich, with 8 going for a 2-0.

BRISTOL ROVERS 2 SOUTHEND 0
Two first-half goals strengthened Rovers play-off challenge, and weakened Southend's. What a shame. There were 2 (Sector4 and thrillseeker) who got this spot-on, and 7 more had the outcome.

FLEETWOOD 2 BOLTON 4
Bolton end Fleetwood's 18-game unbeaten run, with this impressive victory. Nobody got 3 points for this, but 6 did have the outcome.

CARLISLE 0 CAMBRIDGE UNITED 3
Ex U's Medi Elito's second-half hat-trick condemned Carlisle to a fourth straight defeat. Again nobody had this spot-on, and only 2 got the outcome. There were 17 who predicted a win for Carlisle, with 10 going for a 2-1, in what was the weeks most predicted score.

LUTON 0 STEVENAGE 2
It is now eight wins from their last nine games for Stevenage, as they give their hopes of automatic promotion a huge boost. No 3 points for anybody here either, and just 2 had the outcome. There were 13 who predicted a Luton victory, and a large 6 went for a 2 all draw.

WYCOMBE 0 BLACKPOOL 0
Blackpool miss an 86th minute penalty, as Wycombe held on for a bore draw. Yet again nobody had this spot-on, but 3 did get the outcome. There were 13 who predicted a win for improving Blackpool, with 9 going for a 2-1.

ARSENAL 5 LINCOLN 0
A routine win for Arsenal, as they remain on course to win the FA Cup for the thirteenth time. There were 2 (Colukev and noah4x4) who got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome.

These ten game weeks are where the big points can be won, but not for the first time this season this one turned out to be a big disappointment. With five games not providing any 3 pointers, it was only the late goal from Ipswich that proved to be a saviour this week, with half of the weeks 3 pointers coming from this game. One of the nine to get yet another Ipswich draw spot-on was Sector4, and he also had the Bristol Rovers 2-0 spot-on, and with three other outcomes, he is this weeks top scorer with a decent 9 points. The other performance of merit this week came from thrillseeker, who had the wins for Hull and Bristol Rovers spot-on, as he got a very good 8 points.

In the Premier, that late goal from Swansea helped mfb_cufc to win the Happy Cup, and by getting that Hull 2-1 spot-on in the Happy League as well, he improved his chances of a League and Cup double. The top scoring effort from Sector4 cemented his Charity Shield spot, but good weeks for jonestones and Tropical_Us keeps the pressure on him. Gate16 has hit a bit of a flat spot, and he finds himself at the lowest level he has been since the first week of the season. After being in the bottom three since Week 12, thrillseeker finally escapes, as those missed weeks take their toll on wessex_exile.

In Division One, that late goal from Ipswich helped basher2010 to extend his lead to respectable 6 points again. Getting the Arsenal 5-0 spot-on saves the Colukev blushes, as it is the only 3 points he got this week. He has struggled for 3 pointers all season, but two this week for noah4x4, the wins for Hull and Arsenal, enables him to get three points closer to the automatic spots , for the third week in a row. Along with mrhappy he is looking good for at least a play-off spot, but the other two places are up for grabs, with in form OhOriOri, although second from bottom, only 7 points off the pace.

THE TABLES (226 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
