Ins, outs and maybe's 2023 . on 11:10 - Jul 16 by Moor_Pinot
Living down here on the Moor Durham it was nice to see one of your 'targets' playing for Huddersfield against Liskeard yesterday. We didn't miss much in my view!!
Pinot who has signed for the Terriers. I must have missed that with all this frenetic activity transfer wise going on!

I'll be honest, if we can get to to the end of the transfer window without any more significant departures, I think we've got the makings of a good squad to compete at the right end of the table.
ROBBIE Cowling insists Colchester United are willing to be patient in order to land ‘quality’ signings this summer – and have a competitive budget in which to do so.

That can't be right - he hung up his boots 5 years ago?
Must've got them out again.
As you've all been so good, we will let you meet another member of our squad for the 2023/24 season. Former Colchester United, Luton Town, Leyton Orient and Wycombe Wanderers striker Dean Morgan becomes a Red. pic.twitter.com/UHQk9xOdkY

Crikey - fair play to him then! It never worked out for him at Layer Road, and he obviously left under a considerable 'cloud', but on his day he was a decent striker (consider as evidence, his worldy at Ninian Park).

A spring Chicken at only 39.
I understand he might also be standing in Thursday's By-Election.

Colchester sweat over Junior Tchamadeu future According to Gazette News, offers have arrived for Tchamadeu this summer as speculation persists over his future at Colchester United. However, none have so far matched the valuation that the League Two club has placed on the academy graduate. But the club’s chairman has admitted that the club will not block a move, if the right bid does eventually arrive. Tchamadeu earned the achievement of winning the Young Player of the Season award last year, which has attracted the interest of a number of clubs this summer.
Interesting Blackburn about to transfer a young centre back with only 8 Championship appearances to Spurs for £3m so wonder if, once the deal is done (guy is having a medical today/tomorrow) they will then have the money to move for Junior? I hope we don't settle for a couple of hundred thousand pounds with the incentive of add ons, etc and go for £1m plus so we have the cash to genui Ely strengthen before start of the season

Totally agree Burnsie - I reckon £1M has to be the minimum for Junior.
I often wondered whether his disciplinary record would count against him last season he received 15 Yellow cards and 1 Red card but he is a talented footballer.
But if we can hold onto Samson and Noah, then that will be a result for the U's.
Come on striker needed.

Official Junior has submitted a transfer request.
Wants to go to Stoke.
£1m plus required
Up the U:s
I accept that Junior will be going, and however it's totaled up, £1m is a fair price, but 100% behind Robbie wanting more up front and less as add-on's - what use is it to us if most comes in dribs and drabs over the next 2 or 3 years.
Hopefully that's helped others thinking of making a counter-offer to restructure their deal and nip in at the eleventh hour. Maybe that's why Junior (or presumably more likely his agent) put in a transfer request? Otherwise, that move just feels disloyal and ungrateful.
