Anthony Wordsworth is a free agent after release by ITFC but no-one wants him!
Still only 26, seems an incredible waste but will not be returning to Colchester
We do want Elliott Hewitt though who could bring some attacking flair.

We must retain our key players, rumours of clubs sniffing around but if we are to progress then Moncur, Massey, Eastman, Sembie-ferris, etc must stay.

Very sad a talent like his is seemingly going to waste. Actually think Tony Humes would be the man to get him to knuckle down and start playing well again.

If Fox does no re - sign ,would be the ideal replacement, very good at set piece play which is sadly where we have been lacking all last season .
With Brindley signed is Elliott Hewitt required ( ? ) , has the squad already has three wide men .

Poll: No half measure either 1 or 2 ?

Please NO to Wordsworth. He is everything that we don't want.

If Mick McCarthy couldn't make such an obviously talented and skilled footballer into a 'squad member' and hard working individual then nobody can. Tony Humes (rightfully) doesn't tolerate dissent or laziness (e.g. Ibrehe; Clohessy; Watt ); so let's not add a disruptive influence. The days of the impetuous 'Medi Elito' prima donna types are long gone in football at this level.

Funny too how now that England have scored 400+ and whupped the New Zealanders that nobody is harping on about Kevin Petersen.....
