Bryn was on holiday last week so Bill was joined by the Talented (Iain) Tallentire our versatile squad player.
The latest show is a far more upbeat affair after the last show when the late Leonard Cohen inspired us to wait for a miracle. Maybe, just maybe it’s arrived in the form of George Elokobi. Is George the bit of grit and experienced muscle we have been calling for to shore up the defence and inspire the younger players?
The big interview in show number 9 is with Neil Kelly the voice of BBC Radio Essex’s excellent commentary. Neil talks of the Us recent performances, Robbie, the Academy and whether he’s got a sheepskin coat like John Motson!
The show geared up for Christmas and got excited about the Blockheads’ Arts Centre Christmas Concert with some cover versions of the excellent band.
There’s more good news about Colne Radio going FM 106.6 in the New Year with a transmitter that should cover virtually all of Colchester. The station secured another £1000 funding allowing us to make another big step in the right direction.
