THRILLSEEKER, along with SARBOY and RSCOSWORTH, were the only ones to foresee the Falcons upset over their division rivals, the Saints.. GERRY was helped by his blind faith that the Vikings would go to St Louis and expose what was supposed to be a strong defense (Durham got this one correct as well)... DURHAM and MFB were the only two to pick the Texans to defeat the Redskins in Houston..
*anyway, a not so easy to suss first week of the season. Falcons upset Brees and the Saints; Patriots and Brady fell at Miami; Vikings dismantled the Rams.. Otherwise, the champs Seattle took care of business on Thursday v Green Bay, and San Francisco and Denver flew out of the blocks impressively as well.

Robert Griffin III didn't exactly have a terrible game. He completed 29 of 37 for 267 yards, 0 TDs and 0 Interceptions for the Skins.
The missed extra point which left Washington with an early 6-0 lead as opposed to 7-0, that altered the mathematical complexion of the game.
The rushing attack averaged 5 yards per versus Houston.
Not enough passes downfield, too many short dump offs like some kind of pseudo West Coast offense, which is not the way the squad is designed to be optimized.
Not sure about the one season wonder bit. RGIII was rehabilitating from a terrible injury all of last season. The verdict is still out..
