Saddle up for three priceless home points today 13:48 - Jan 17 with 426 viewsdurham_exile

So begins the new era at Col U without Freddie Sears.

Now whilst disappointed to see him go, he confirms that there is no loyalty in football. After all we brought him in from the cold and relative obscurity and put him in the shop window. He wants Championship football so be it. Woody also wanted the same, be careful what you wish for! Never mind we move on with the want to stay talented kids.

TH has more promising home grown talent in his ranks and now is the time to see them blossom further under his guidance.

Jabo is back but injured and wants away so is not in the reckoning.

This is the opportunity for Rhys Healey to shine.

TH has made an excellent signing in young Wynter to strengthen further the back four.

Likely line up - 4,3,3

Walker

Clohessy Eastman Gorkss Wynter

Moncur Fox Szmodics

Hewitt Healey Massey

Subs:

Lewington Kpekawa Lapslie Bonne Sembie-Ferris Watt Eastmond

Still injured:

Gilbey Wright Olufemi Gordon Magnus Kent O'Donoghue plus Ibehre

It is about time that we started to secure maximum points at the WHCS.

Weather today in Durham is cold, some snow showers and occasional sunny periods, hopefully the pitch is better that that at our Suffolk neighbours which cut up badly the other evening.

Enjoy the game, keep the faith, up the U's

Hear hear to all that Durham and I'm keeping the faith - even if it costs in medication!!
It's great seeing our youth trying their best.
Do you think we're asking too much of them really?
We haven't been able to grow any consistency for some years now nor any home advantage so these lads have quite a weight on their U21 frames.
Anyway keeping positive thanks to you - and avoiding the reality!!

There's optimism and then there's the complete refusal to face reality. Cowling thinks we are a league two team and Tony Humes is the man to fulfil the chairman's wish.
