Transfer window signings Chris Coyne, Phil Ifil and Scott Vernon have all been named in Williams' squad for tomorrow's home game against Sheffield United.

With the game against Hull City two weeks ago being postponed, both Coyne and Ifil look set to finally make their home debuts, having both started the two U's games since they signed.

Deadline day signing Dean Hammond misses out through suspension, serving the final game of a three-match ban for a sending off prior to joining the U's, while fellow midfielder Kevin Watson returns for the first time since recovering from injury.

An 18-man pre-match squad has been named as follows:
Gerken, Cousins, Ifil, White, Balogh, Coyne, Virgo, Duguid, Jackson, Izzet, Guttridge, Watson, Yeates, Sheringham, Vernon, Guy, Platt, Lisbie.
