Rams Record 7th Consecutive Home Victory As Bent Buries Blues
Tuesday, 27th Dec 2016 17:12 by Daniel J Sewart

The Rams made it 7 consecutive home wins - all with clean sheets, 9 matches unbeaten and moved within a point of the top 6 with a 1 - 0 win over Birmingham at Pride Park this afternoon.

Richard Keogh was bundled to the ground in the box while waiting for Jacob Butterfield to whip in a corner. A penalty was awarded and Darren Bent stepped up to ensure the Rams took the lead and come the full time whistle, all 3 points.

Derby deserved the victory after playing the better football in what was for the most part a scrappy encounter between two sides who found it hard to find any tempo following their 10 day break between matches.

The games will come thick and fast from here and the Rams are now well placed to continue their assault on the play-off positions.

RamZone will have reaction, reports and more in the coming days from our team who saw Derby triumph once again at Pride Park.

Until then enjoy this belated Christmas gift from our team of black and white champions.
