Thread of the Week - Who will leave?

New poster DCFC4LIFE gets the nod for Thread of the Week this week by posing the question 'who will leave at the end of the season?'

The answer is probably 'almost everyone'!

This developed into a very well thought out thread where many RamZoners gave their opinions as to who would be departing - and since the thread was started Craig Fagan has returned to Hull on loan but expected to be permanent in the summer.

There was a lot of research that went into many of the posts as posters considered who we could reasonably offload and indeed where would they go? Some players are on VERY long contracts, some until 2011.

Traffic is still picking up on the RamZone Message Board as we are now seven months on the new site. More and more people are joining up and posting their opinions.

There were quite a few good threads this week: The discussion on whether or not we will have a reserve term next season was debated - along with whether or not there will be a Player of the Year this season (the answer to that is no, Paul Jewell doesn't think anyone is worthy) and discussions about the Season Ticket price freeze over the next few weeks.

There is the usual speculation about who might possibly arrive at Pride Park over the summer and Nathan Ellington has been suggested in one newspaper story.

It's great to see the Message Board coming to life again and there will be further improvements over the next few weeks. RamZoners are reminded that although the MB is currently set to 'read by topic' as default, it is also possible to read it by thread which makes it more similar in appearance to our old site.

Feel free to highlight any small snags and either post on the MB or mail in to editor Arild at ramzone@online.no and he will sort them out wherever he is able. The whole clubfanzine network is undergoing constant improvements, and a big design upgrade is coming soon.
