HollowayRangeradded 18:20 - Mar 3 Draw was about right we edged it but as usual were too negative last 20 mins more worried about saving a point then winning 3. And again everton goal came from one of our own (taarabt),best players for me Zamora scored and laid balls off well, back 4 all good but Onuoha the star broke up so many of evertons attacks, biggest flops barton swp taarabt(2nd half).

MickBadded 18:46 - Mar 3 How can the ratings be so generous to Barton? And isn't it ironic that the first candidate for the discard heap, Clint Hill, is probably our moss reliable defender.

HamptonRadded 21:53 - Mar 3 MickB - The answer is simple, Barton played well.

I may be in the minority but Barton played well today, he drove the midfield forward and worked hard.
He may not be everyone’s ideal captain and he isn’t mine but despite what he earns, what he tweets and what people think. He had a good game today.

MelakaRangeradded 23:48 - Mar 3 What a difference to last week! For once we were the best team on the field. Had Cisse played we would have won by 2 or 3 for sure
Thats the best I have seen Barton play for 6 months. SWP was still weak though.
Taarabt could have cost us the game - twice. He is just too casual - lazy -with his passing. He will loose us more games than he will win if he keeps on like that.
Maybe just maybe there is hope....

RBLOCKPATadded 00:24 - Mar 4 The squirrel was on his own up front for long periods in the first half but no one could find him which was ashame because I thought his movement and energy levels were superb and was very surprised that Mark Hughes didnt send him out for the second half. All joking aside I thought we played very well in periods today and it was just luck that desserted us. I am one of Joey Bartons biggest critics and although he gave the ball away a few times he really did battle for the team. I thought Clint Hill was superb today and looks more at home centrally, Derry played well and there was alot of grit, it will be interesting to see next week whether Diakite comes back and takes the place of SWP who I think needs a rest and can come on as an impact player. Hope Cisse can pick up where he left off before getting sent off.

MelakaRangeradded 04:44 - Mar 4 Yes once again Clint Hill proved his worth. Shame Warnock had him off on loan earlier in the season. He showed a lot of grit and determination.
Might be useful to give him another years contract?
