U18s Face West Ham as U15s Start Milk Cup Campaign

Town’s U18s are in action against West Ham at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am). Meanwhile, in Northern Ireland, the U15s face County Tyrone in their opening game at the Milk Cup.


Russell Osman’s boys will be looking for their first win of pre-season having drawn 0-0 in their opening friendly against Kirkley and Pakefield’s senior side.

The U15s are up against County Tyrone in Omagh, then take on Queen of the South in Portrush on Monday and Watford at Portstewart on Tuesday in the group stages of the Junior section of the famous youth tournament which is in its 30th year.

Midfielder Cormac Burke is in the Northern Ireland squad for the Elite U20 section of the competition.

The Northern Irish youngsters take on Chile in Ballymena on Saturday, then on Monday they face Mexico in Coleraine before the semi-finals and finals.
