Town have confirmed that former coach Steve Foley has returned to the club as the academyâ€™s youth development coach, as first revealed by TWTD a fortnight ago. Academy director Bryan Klug has also added ex-Colchester and Birmingham striker and one-time Blues trainee Steve McGavin to his staff as head of recruitment, replacing Malcolm Moore, who retired earlier in the summer.

Bury Town have confirmed that former Blues striker James Scowcroft has taken up a coaching role at Playford Road, as revealed by TWTD a week ago. Scowcroft had recently been appointed assistant manager at Ram Meadow but will now be replaced by former Cambridge and Luton defender Ben Chenery, who coincidentally also began his playing career as an Ipswich Town youth player.

Returning to Portman Road brought childhood memories flooding back for new Blues keeper Scott Loach, who completed his ÂŁ150,000 switch from Watford earlier today. TWTD understands that Town have renewed their interest in bringing former Academy manager Bryan Klug back to Playford Road as exiting chief Sammy Morganâ€™s replacement.
