Warnock wants a big Mac?
Sun 15th Jul 2012 00:42

The not-so-reliable Mail on Sunday are linking us with a £3m swoop for Brighton's Craig Mackail-Smith. Big name, big hair but not so big goals to game ratio in the Championship! The 28-year old Scotland international is apparently the man Warnock believes will fire us into the Prem. He bagged three-goals against us last season, which accounted for a 1/3rd of his 2011/12 tally of just 9 which is pretty paltry given his big money move from Peterborough last summer. I think this story is destined for the recycling bin or at best, the cat litter tray! I think a journalist has simply got fed-up of waiting for the t-word to go through, so their imagination has gone into overdrive in what Leeds will do with the alleged "Bahrain Billions" despite Neil Warnock saying whatever does happen we won't be "doing a Man City". And even if we are in the market for splashing out on a big name, big money striker, surely bringing Jermaine Beckford back home would be a more favourable proposition to us long-suffering supporters than some low-scoring, Scottish by association forward with a dodgy haircut?
