Peltier makes it double figures!
Sat 04th Aug 2012 16:09

Lee Peltier became Neil Warnock's TENTH signing of the summer!

Leeds' long awaited pursuit of Lee Peltier has paid off when he agreed to be the 10th new recruit of the summer.

The 25-year-old, who can play in midfield or defence, is expected to take the right-back role such proved so problematic last season. He joins for an undisclosed fee and has agreed a three-year-deal today.

Despite being a regular with the Foxes last season, Peltier made 47 appearances for the Foxes, he doesn't feature in Nigel Pearson's long-term plans so jumped at the chance of returning to West Yorkshire having left Huddersfield a year ago to join Sven Goran-Eriksson's doomed revolution.

I have been surprised how many folk have been quite dismissive about Neil Warnock's summer moves in the transfer market this summer, but this is a quality signing who will thrive in an improved settled defence.

Peltier didn't arrive in time for today's friendly with Preston, but could well make his Leeds bow at Burton Albion on Tuesday night alongside fellow new recruit Rodolph Austin.
