Warnock re-signs old Warhorse
Mon 06th Aug 2012 18:39

Michael Brown has signed a one-year deal with the Whites.

Browny, 35 was a Simon Grayson signing and also a victim of the Grayson syndrome whereby he would play a couple of games and then disappear to the point where we forgot he was at the club.

However he's an old favourite of Neil Warnock's and has finally agreed to stay on for another year, having been offered a contract on less money than what he was on previously.

No doubt he will be a useful experienced squad player. He can be relied on to "put the foot in" which is something we lacked, unfortunately Brown's lack of pace means he often falls foul of the referree. However he scored for me what was the goal of the season in THAT game against Forest!

But in Warnock we trust and we look forward to seeing what NW has in mind for his former Sheffield United star.
