The 29-year-old Finnish international midfielder joined Leeds United in September 2011 and signed a one-year contract with a further year's option. He has earned 54 caps for his and started his career with FC Lahti in Finland. He was with Dutch club Hereenveen last season, which he first joined in 2001, but spent three years with PSV Eindhoven from 2005-08.
He has looked fairly average so far and time will tell whether he becomes part of Neil Warnock’s plans.
