Cellino discovers another rotten "Watermelon" as Darko departs following Wolves' mauling Saturday, 25th Oct 2014 20:03 After just six games and just 32 days in charge, Darko Milanic becomes Massimo Cellino's third coach to head for the dole queue, however those Leeds fans who saw today's feeble second half surrender against Wolves won't be that sorry to see the Slovenian go. However for the first-half at least it looked like Milanic would claim his first win as Leeds boss as Leeds pegged back high-flying Wolves, the enforced change of Steve Morison making a rare start in place of the suspended Souleymane Doukara looked to have inadvertently paid off. The former Millwall man, in my opinion an easy target for the boo-boys revelled alongside Mirco Antenucci and on 18 minutes Antenucci claimed his 4th of the season giving Leeds a well deserved lead with a stunning left foot strike courtesy of Morison's strength. Leeds should have wrapped it up six minutes later when Morison again picked out a golden opportunity for Mowatt this time but the youngsters shot was feeble. Although this seemed to wake Wolves up and stir them into the game at last, Leeds still had chances to find a second killer goal Bianchi with a header and Morison again the architect for Antenucci, who saw a shot deflected wide. Inexplicably during the interval Milanic opted to shove Morison, who had been outstanding as a centre-forward out wide right. This effectively cut off any creative danger as our swamped midfield were unable to get anything out to Morison and Wolves simply camped in our half. Chance after chance went begging. The arrival of Luke Murphy was hardly going to quell the advancing old gold hordes and it was no surprise on 66 when Henry smashed home the equaliser. Leeds worryingly looked out of steam and despite Sloth coming on, there was no rest bite and when half-time sub Leon Clarke tapped in Wolves winner it was time up for Milanic who was sacked after the game and Neil Redfearn appointed in his place.
