Swans To Sign Two Goalkeepers?
Monday, 22nd Jun 2015 19:22 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

The Swans have been linked with the signature of two goalkeepers today as they look to address one of the two obvious positions in the team where they need strength in depth.

With Gerhard Tremmel having departed the club at the end of last season after four years, the Swans have no obvious cover to Lucasz Fabianski in the goalkeeping position so a move for Kristoffer Nordfeldt makes sense and means that they have a viable alternative to Fabianski should it be needed.

We have also been linked with a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Guillermo Lara although this signature would be more for the Under-21 team and not likely to impact on the first team squad unless needed as backup to a back up.

Swedish international Nordfeldt, 25, plays for Dutch club Heerenveen, while 18-year-old Lara is at Barcelona.

David Cornell also departed the club at the end of last season increasing the need for goalkeeping cover and given the way that these two stories have come out I have a guess that both have mileage in them and wouldn't be surprised to see them both coming through to completion
