Leeds could receive a much-needed cash windfall, if Max Gradel moves from St Etienne to Bournemouth.

The hugely unpopular transfer of Gradel in 2011 to the French side apparently included a 10% sell-on-clause. The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Gradel is expected to join Premiership new-comers Bournemouth and this will trigger a much-needed cash-injection into the club coffers.

Gradel was a bargain signing from Leicester back in 2009, initially joining in loan after ironically a similar spell at Bournemouth. Having scored 17 goals for St Etienne last season he is a man in demand and I suppose getting a sell-on windfall is the next best thing to actually having him back. He has been linked with a return on a couple of occasions but realistically we could never afford him and his wages.

Whether or not Uwe Rosler will get any such cash to spend on further recruits remains to be seen. We are also yet to gear whether or not the whites' will profit from Fabian Delph's recent move to Manchester City after the players' shock U-Turn in deciding to leave the West Midlands when he looked set to stay earlier this month.

Clearly United's head-coach needs to move a few on before he can make any further signings. Steve Morison is hotly tipped to join former-club Millwall for a third-spell following Billy Sharp's move to Sheffield United last week for his third spell with the Blades. However Morison's high-earnings at Elland Road may prove to be a stumbling-block for Millwall who now languish in League One. We should be encouraged that Morison apparently is keen to return to the capital, hopefully he will happily take a pay-cut to force through his dream-move back to the New Den rather than demand the remaining year of his Leeds contract is paid-up,
