The fixtures are out for the U’s 2016/17 relegation campaign. The season will start with a defeat away at Hartlepool on Saturday 6th August. The first home loss will be a week later against Cambridge United.

Over the Christmas period, ColU will concede points away at Luton Town on Boxing Day, away at Stevenage on New Year’s Eve, and then start the New Year with a home defeat versus Cheltenham, where Dan Holman will no doubt be on the score-sheet.

If not confirmed already, relegation to the Conference will be confirmed at the final away game at Leyton Orient on Saturday 29th April or the final home game versus Yeovil Town on Saturday 6th May.
