Send a postcard to Massimo
Monday, 5th Sep 2016 17:46 by Tim Whelan

Is there anything you’d like to say to our beloved majority shareholder? Well now’s your chance, as the TTGM group launch their latest campaign, #Message4Massimo.

Time ‘To Go Massimo’ protest group have launched 2 designs of postcard to highlight their message that despite his efforts, Mr Cellino’s ownership of Leeds United is untenable. Fans can fill in their own message and either drop them off before or after the next two home games (collection points around Elland Road and in the beer tent of the Peacock) or click here to send a message via the group’s website.

A statement on the TTGM website says “With Mr Cellino once again dithering over the sale of Leeds United, where there are 3 separate parties ready to do a deal, we wanted to give fans the opportunity to send a message of their own to encourage him to make his mind up. “

Whilst his intentions may be well founded, it has become clear over the course of his ownership of Leeds United that he is not in a position to move the club forward. If Mr Cellino is looking for a lasting legacy at Leeds United, the best thing he can do now is to complete a deal with one of the parties involved in discussions, allowing the club to move on to the next level and give the fans the successful, well managed club they deserve.”

Here at toellandback towers, we’ve got a couple of questions of our own to put to Mr. Cellino.

Are you going to give Garry Monk the time and support he needs to mould the new signings into a successful side?

When are you going to start treating your employees like normal human beings?

And what’s happened to that dispute with HRMC that you mentioned in the last published accounts? We do hope that your rather lax attitude to paying taxes isn’t going to land the club in another fine mess.

No doubt you will have your own questions to put to Mr. Cellino, and if you can think of anything else that would encourage him to move towards the exit door, then do let him know.
