Cellino’s changed his mind again
Monday, 14th Nov 2016 17:59 by Tim Whelan

Just when we dared to hope that Massimo’s chaotic reign at Elland Road was nearing it’s end, the latest is that he won’t be selling the club to Andrea Radrizzani after all.

Last week we heard that Il Presidente was negotiating to buy a stake in Serie B side Brescia back in his native Italy, and that his cunning plan also involved selling at least the majority of his shares in Leeds United.

But today Italian website tuttomercatoweb have reported that Cellino has abandoned his plan to buy Brescia, even though they have now come through the financial problems that have dogged them in recent years.

It seems he wasn’t to keep Leeds for the time being, and apparently the reason is that he doesn’t think that Radrizzani and his consortium of Italian businessmen are “not big enough” to take over Leeds.

Is that out of concern for our well-being, or is it just that Radrizzani weren’t offering Cellino enough to seal the deal? Did Massimo decided that with our fortunes at last looking up on the field he might be better off holding onto the club in the hope of promotion this season?

Or is it just another example of Cellino’s irrational decision-making, constantly changing his mind on a whim. His relationship with Radrizzani might have cooled, but he has previously said that he’s got fed up with life at Leeds, so we can but hope that we’ll be rid of him eventually.

Sooner or later somebody will come along with a big enough pile of cash.

Seriously I think all talk of Cellino selling the club was paper talk by Journalists who don't like actually working for a living. Do I think he was looking for someone to invest in the club? probably yes.
