Ross McCormack

Position:Striker
Date of Birth:18th August 1986
Previous Clubs:Rangers, Motherwell, Cardiff

A Scottish international who began his career with Rangers, before moving on to Motherwell and then Cardiff. He scored 25 goals in 53 games for the Bluebirds before joining Leeds just before the transfer window closed in August 2010.

His first season was frustrating as the form of other strikers kept him out for a long spell, but he showed his worth with goals in the final two games of the season. At the start of the current campaign he was our one remaining fit striker and had to play up front on his own, and wasn't best suited to this role.

He has looked better alongside the on-loan Andy Keogh, but it remains to be seen if he will keep his place once Becchio and Somma are back to fitness.
