Michael Brown

Position:Midfield
Date of Birth:25th January 1977
Previous Clubs:Manchester City, Fulham, Portsmouth, Wigan, Sheff Utd, Spurs

A Man City supporting mate warned me that he would do nothing to improve our disiplinary record, and so it soon proved, as he had to be substituted on his debut at Southampton before he got himself sent off.

His job is to protect the back four as the hard-tackling defensive midfield player, but he might have to do with plenty of substitute appearances this season. Clayton and Delph now seem to be the preferred option in central midfield when all players are available.
