Manuel Pellegrini has been speaking to the Manchester Evening News ahead of tomorrows game with Sunderland. City take on Sunderland in the game that was postponed earlier in the season. A win would leave City four points behind leaders Liverpool with one game still in hand. The official site has put out a call to arms to all City fans to turn the Etihad blue.

" Blues, this is a call to arms... bring your flags, inflatables and best singing voices along to turn the Etihad Blue on Wednesday night.

There are only four home games left in the 2013/14 season and we want to create an incredible atmosphere under the lights of the Etihad Stadium for the visit of Sunderland, to help roar our boys onto the title."

During today's press conference Pellegrini told The Manchester Evening News "It’s important we start with the same high performance we showed in the second half of the Liverpool game.

"We win our two postponed games and we're a point back. If you don’t believe we can do it, you can’t believe in anything."

Pellegrini also confirmed that Kompany and Aguero were both in the squad and that the team know what they have to do and the team 'will fight to the end' .

On Yaya Toure's injury he said "Maybe it’s not as bad as we thought at the beginning but he needs at least ten days or two weeks to recover."
