A number of Premiership clubs are rumoured to be showing interest in Manchester City midfielder James Milner who has reportedly hinted at a move away from The Etihad in the summer.

Milner is hoping a move away from City will help him see more first team action, the 28 year old only started 17 games for City this season and with City being linked with move a move for defensive midfielder Fernando Milner's chances of first team football may become even more limited.

Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been linked with the midfielder in today's newspapers.

Milner is not the only English player being linked with a move away from City, Scott Sinclair, Jack Jodwell, Gareth Barry, Micah Richards all look set to move on in the summer and defender Joleon Lescott has already confirmed his departure which would leave City extremely short on homegrown players, Uefa insists there are eight in every squad.
