City To Face Sheff Wednesday

City have been handed a home clash against Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the Carling Cup. The tie will be played on September 23rd or 24th. Sheffield Wednesday beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor in the previous round.

After the hammering Mk Dons gave Man United in the last round they have been handed a a home tie against fellow league one side Bradford City. Liverpool will host Middlesbrough at Anfield and Chelsea will welcome Bolton to Stamford Bridge.
