Tough Champions League Draw For City Thursday, 28th Aug 2014 18:01 Manchester City have been drawn in Group E with Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow and Roma in the Group stages of the Champions League. The draw means City will have to get past the Champions of Germany in Bayern Munich and the Champions of Russia in CSKA Moscow. City were draw against Bayern and CSKA last season and took nine points from the four games, They beat Bayern 3-2 away but lost the returning fixture 3-1. Two wins against CSKA last season winning 5-2 at the Etihad stadium and 2-1 away from from home. The City first-team’s fate is shared by Patrick Vieira’s under-19s in the second year of the UEFA Youth League. The under-19s will travel with the first team and play on, or the day before, each Champions League match day against each of the teams in Group E.
