Manuel Pellegrini spoke to the gathered press ahead of Saturday's Home tie with Stoke City. The game will be City's Third game in the defence of the title and their second home game of the season. Stoke have not won away against City since the 1997/98 season.

On tomorrows visitors Stoke Pellegrini had this to say;“Last year in our best moment, we only won 1-0 — I am sure they will come here to make a tough game for us."
