City Take On Stoke
Friday, 29th Aug 2014 12:57

City take on Stoke City tomorrow in their second home game of their title defence. City have started well so far and didn't seem to get out of first gear despite re-soundly beating Liverpool in Monday nights clash. Stoke have struggles so far as they faded badly against Aston Villa and then struggled to a draw against the 10 men of Hull City. Stoke have lost all six of their previous Premier League visits to the Etihad Stadium without scoring a single goal.

Team News

The only injury for City is the long term one to Negredo. Aguero is fit and will be taking some part to tomorrows game. Managala is still not ready to make the squad.

On-loan Chelsea winger Victor Moses is likely to start on the bench for Stoke. Glenn Whelan, Bojan Krkic and Phil Bardsley are all doubts, while Steven Ireland is definitely out with a long-term injury.

Stats

City have scored at least once in 69 of their last 70 Premier League home games.

Stoke have played 12 Premier League games in Manchester (City & United combined) and lost all 12.

Stoke have not kept a clean sheet in a Premier League away game since last December (at Hull City).
